Hi all beautiful ugly ducklings!
Yes Laila, as promised, I shall keep this blog as alive as much as I could k. Hee. Now that I'm back to bumming fuller time.
Yeah. Most of y'all may know by now, that I've officially withdrawn from Republic Poly as of 6 December? Somewhere during that time lah. But anyways, no worries ok. I'm obviously not gonna stop studying for the rest of my life. That's kinda crazy. My plan now is to actually work full time on my own, grow my savings and pay for my own studies. Duh! I don’t know what you guys may think, but for me, it sucks to owe the government money for your studies and eventually be a government dog for a few years just so to pay off everything. No offence yeah, this is just on the surface terms. Please don't start any bloody debate here. I don't enjoy 'happening tagboards'.
Now let's drop the topic. So, if you're asking what I've been doing since I'd long been away from school. Well, I managed to get myself a position in this company known as one of Apple Service Provider. Go figure. You can find it at Alexandra Road. ~ Having problem with your iPod? Your MacBook won't boot up? There's a vertical line on your iMac display? Why don't you bring your machine down to our Service Centre and let our engineers do a full diagnose on it to see the root of the problem. ~ So yeah, that's basically the rough idea of what I'd been doing.
I was there only for about one and a half months. Too short huh? But at least I've gained the experience I need of working during office hours, working in an office environment, doing those admin work, bla, bla. I don't mean to brag, but I know myself that I'm actually doing all fine with almost zero mistakes (heh, like real) but my only flaw is, hehe, my tendency to take unnecessary MC/leave. Guess it's a habit? But whatever it is, I gotta kick it off.
This Thursday, on 17 Jan, I'm selected for an interview at AGC. Woo! Not Asahi Glass Chemical k stupid. It's the Attorney General Chambers. Yeah, the Supreme Court and all. Sounds familiar huh? Though I never get to fulfill my dreams of getting into Temasek Poly to get the Dip in Law & Management, who knows, this would be my rezeki to study law in a different way.
The job scope looks freaking challenging, but it's ok. No pain no gain right. Pray all the best for me k. ;)
If this interview still isn't successful, then I'll be going for Plan B. TBA.
